Curriculum

 


Cor Ardesch (*1959) studied organ at the Sweelinck College of Music in Amsterdam with Piet Kee. Furthermore he attended an improvisation course at the Royal College of Music in The Hague with Bert Matter.


Since 1998 Cor Ardesch is organist of the ‘Grote of Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk’ in Dordrecht.
During the inauguration of the Bach-organ on September 26, 2007, Cor Ardesch has been appointed
municipal organist of Dordrecht.


Cor Ardesch teaches organ, improvisation and ecclesiastical organ playing. He performs many concerts throughout the year in The Netherlands and abroad.


A number of CD’s has appeared, on which he plays the Kam-organ of the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht.
Towards the end of 2008 he started recording Bach’s complete organ works.


On April 29 2011 Cor Ardesch was awarded the honour of Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau for his dedication to the organ culture and the organs of the Grote Kerk in particular.
